Lights & Visibility: All lights (Front, rear and internal) are all checked to confirm all are working correctly. Registration plates are maintained for clarity, and all windows, wipers and mirrors are checked for faults or weak points.
Steering & Drive System: We rigorously check all joints, gaiters and wheel bearings for strength and function. Front & rear shock absorbers and springs are checked and tested for effectiveness and friction. A wheel alignment analysis is also completed.
Braking System: Front & Rear brake pads and discs are checked and measured in line with safety standards. This is then recorded for their service life.
Interior: An inspection of all seat belts to make sure they meet current safety standards. Checks to internal controls such as horn, hazard lights, air conditioning and other control functions.
Under the Bonnet: A complete engine inspection to check everything is in total working order. We check for any faults or leaks within the system. Air & oil filters, spark plugs and drive belts checked and replaced if required.
Under the Vehicle: Transmission thoroughly checked for leaks, faults, rust or corrosion. All oil is drained from the system and checked for leaks. Fuel lines are inspected for defects before trays are replaced.
Tyres: Tyres are checked for tread, and tyre pressures adjusted. Spare wheel and/or inflation kit also checked where appropriate. We also review all wheel nuts to confirm no weak points are present.
Final Checks: Checks to brake fluid and anti-freeze, making sure no leaks and correct levels are present. The engine is re-filled with new oil. Your service record is updated before the car is returned to you.
